From the reviews
This studio is one of the best martial arts studios I have ever trained at. The instructors knowlegable, respectfull, caring, honorable, and all around great people. My son and I have been training at the Oak Hills studio for over a year now and I still get impressed with every class I attened.
I’m happy we chose New Breed! The staff is amazing and my 3children love attending the classes. Definitely recommend them.
I can't recommend New Breed enough! The staff here are absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in each student's growth. They create a positive, supportive environment that really makes kids feel at home while teaching them valuable life lessons.
I enrolled my two daughters 12 and 15 in June and they love it. Coach Garrett I can't say enough good things about him. He has helped my kids with their self confidence and he has a great sense of humor. Shyan is amazing she is always helpful if you have any questions. All the kids and instructors are so nice.
Your first BJJ class at New Breed Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a BJJ gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic positions and escapes with a partner — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — many gyms lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi (or a rashguard and shorts for no-gi) and a mouthguard. Live rolling eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
