From the reviews
I’ve had the privilege of training under Pete and I can confidently say that he is an exceptional jiu jitsu teacher. Pete possesses a rare combination of deep technical knowledge, an intuitive teaching style, and an unwavering commitment to student development.
I’ve known Pete for awhile now - what’s even more impressive than his BJJ knowledge is his overall approach to life and being a good human being. Pete is humble, wants genuinely the best for his students and puts them first above all else. That being said, guy is a masterclass on the ground.
Pete is an exceptional jiu-jitsu coach who only wants the best out of his students. Pete will push you to your own personal limits and make you the best possible jiu-jitsu athlete that you can be. Humble PROFESSIONAL. Would recommend Warriors Path to anyone who wants to reach their full potential all around.
Pete is a great coach that I have known for years and trained with in past. He has a vast knowledge of the sport and is highly experienced in both teaching and training. He is also a fireman! He has a great way of teaching that makes the info easy to retain.
Your first BJJ class at Warrior's Path Jiu-Jitsu & Muay Thai
Nervous about walking into a BJJ gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic positions and escapes with a partner — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — many gyms lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi (or a rashguard and shorts for no-gi) and a mouthguard. Live rolling eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
