From the reviews
I love inferno!! When I started my journey to a healthy lifestyle, I was nervous about starting a gym. I didn’t want to “drink the koolaid” so to speak. Inferno is not just a gym, they’re a family. The leadership and coaches are great.
Inferno isn't just a gym. They are family. I have been in and out of martial arts gyms most of my life. My son started at Inferno about a year and a half ago. I loved the confidence and respect he started showing so much that I started attending classes there as well.
Love my Inferno family so much. Since day one my family of 7 including 5 kids have been treated as family and taught so many valuable and priceless life lessons that are useful both on and off the mat. The discipline and character being built in all the students on top of an awesome training curriculum is the best!
We’ve been at Inferno for over a year now and it is now our family. The atmosphere is great for learning no matter what level you’re on. All the coaches and staff are amazing. Coach Blake is excellent with the kids and getting them involved and excited to learn.
Your first BJJ class at Inferno Martial Arts Rogers-BJJ & Kickboxing
Nervous about walking into a BJJ gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic positions and escapes with a partner — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — many gyms lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi (or a rashguard and shorts for no-gi) and a mouthguard. Live rolling eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
