“The training is both technical and practical, with a strong focus on real-world application, conditioning, and discipline.”

From the reviews
Fantastic Jiu-Jitsu class! I’ve learned so much in just a few classes and can't wait to continue my training. Also, my son and I had a great experience at the Driven Jiu-jitsu! The instructor Matt, Kris, Mal, and Mike was very knowledgeable and patient with my son.
This is a fantastic gym with a top-notch coaching staff. The other members are awesome and the parents (if you’re going to be sitting and watching your kid), are incredibly welcoming.
Whether you are just starting, or have been training for years, you will love this place! The facility is clean, with plenty of mat space but what sets Driven apart is the people. Everyone is so welcoming and the coaches go out of their way to make sure everyone is learning and improving.
Driven Jiujitsu helped me invest time better in my kids. If you’re reading reviews, you’re probably looking for what I’m looking for: Context on someone else’s personal experience so you can figure out what’s useful to you, and what isn’t. Here’s my context so you can figure out what works for you (if anything).
Your first BJJ class at Driven Jiujitsu
Nervous about walking into a BJJ gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling basic positions and escapes with a partner — not hard sparring. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a gi if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — many gyms lend a loaner gi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gi (or a rashguard and shorts for no-gi) and a mouthguard. Live rolling eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
